Festive Cheesemonger – Crouch End, London

We are hiring for a Full-Time Festive Cheesemonger to work in our Crouch End Branch!

No cheese knowledge required, all we ask is that you are available and flexible throughout December, including Christmas Eve. This fixed-term contract will run from 9th December until 3rd January 2026.

As a Festive Cheesemonger your responsibilities will include:

• Cutting and wrapping cheese
• Providing a premium service to customers assisting with product recommendations and pairings
• Tasting, checking and overall cheese care
• Stock rotation, replenishing shelves
• General cleaning to ensure shop standards are maintained

A few things we ask of you:

• Enthusiasm for the world of F&B and to learn about cheese (no previous knowledge is required, however it is an advantage)
• Flexible availability across days/hours a week – please discuss your availability further with the hiring manager during interview
• Previous retail and/or hospitality experience is desirable
• An energy and flair for providing exceptional customer service
• A self-starter and team player you’ll enjoy working as part of a small team
• Proof of right to live and work in the UK

Interview process – what to expect:

We aim to review applications within 3-5 to working days. If you are selected, we will arrange an introductory online interview. You should expect to discuss your relevant work experience and interest in the role. If successful, second stage interviews will be held on sight with Retail Manager.
