Description
About the artist: Freya Allan is an illustrator based in Dundee. She works digitally primarily but has been known to sit in cute little cafes with her sketchbook and a pen. She loves watching the world around her and interpreting it, with a strong emphasis on colour and line. This illustration was made after a lovely afternoon walk around Stockbridge with friends, where a timelessly dressed man entered the equally timeless I. J. Mellis. Freya’s friend took a great photo of the moment and she felt inspired to revisit it both with pen and later digitally.
