Perfect for a dinner party for 5-7 people
BLUE STILTON – Stilton is known as the King of Cheeses and when you taste Colston Bassett’s version you understand why. Creamy in texture, the blue is strong and salty while the cheese has a mellow and aromatic finish. The Colston Bassett dairy co-operative was founded in 1912, through the efforts of Dr William Windley.
CLAVA BRIE – An organic brie style cheese. Made by Connage Dairy up in the highlands of Inverness-shire. This wonderfully creamy brie-style cheese is strong in flavour with a surprisingly nice bitter taste to it. Clava is named after a bronze aged circular burial cairn near the farm.
GUBBEEN – A washed rind cheese from County Cork, Ireland. Buttery and creamy in texture with a nice woody, nutty and farmhouse flavour
LOCH ARTHUR CHEDDAR – This young, organic cheddar has a mild yet well developed, savoury and nutty flavour. Loch Arthur is handmade, using raw organic milk from cows that have been farmed bio-dynamical-ly. We release ours at around 8-10 months which really enriches the taste and gives it a sharp kick
