FAQ
When will my subscription arrive?
If you placed your order before the 15th of the month, your order will be dispatched that month. If you placed your order after the 15th, your order will be dispatched the following month. Subscription orders are usually dispatched at the start of the third week of the month. For updates on dispatch dates, please check the top of the main subscription page.

When will I be charged?
Your payment card will be charged on the same date every month that you purchased your subscription – for example, if you purchased it on the 16th of August, you’ll be charged again on the 16th of September.

How do I send this order as a gift?
All of our orders are packaged neatly and sent without any pricing information. If you’d like to send the subscription to someone other than yourself, please enter their details in the shipping address. You can also send them a note with the subscription, by typing your message into “Order Notes.” They will receive the note with their first delivery. Please note that they will not be notified beforehand.

Is there tracking information? Can I change my delivery if I’m on holiday?
At checkout, please put a valid email and phone number under the shipping details (or billing, if you’re sending to yourself). Our couriers will use this contact information to email/text you with updates about your order. We are unable to deliver at specific times. If you’re away during our delivery dates, please get in touch with us at enquiries@mellischeese.co.uk to arrange an alternative delivery date. We can always delay delivery or skip a month, but we cannot deliver earlier than our designated dates.

How do I renew my subscription?
We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying it so much! If you contact us before your subscription expires (one month after the purchase date of your final order), we can extend your subscription for as long as you’d like. If your subscription has already expired, you’ll need to purchase a new one.

I have dietary restrictions/preferences/allergies, can I request substitutions?
Since our Cheese Club is “cheesemonger’s choice,” we specifically curate the best tasting, seasonal cheeses for our members. This includes all types of cheese, so we wholeheartedly recommend this subscription to customers who are willing to try anything – this is the best way to discover new cheese!

We can easily accommodate gluten free/coeliac restrictions. For strict vegetarians (who only eat cheese with vegetarian/non-traditional rennet) and pregnant customers, we do not recommend the Cheese Club service, as it will severely limit the range of what we are able to send you. We cannot accommodate vegan or dairy-free diets, or those with specific dairy allergies. If you don’t like blue or goat’s cheese, (we promise that we only send delicious cheese, you should try it!) we can make adjustments to your subscription if needed.

Customers with any dietary preferences/restrictions/allergies should email us at enquiries@mellischeese.co.uk to inform us before placing an order, so that we can provide you with the best service. Please note that all Cheese Club members will receive tasting notes in their order, but we are not able to alter tasting notes to reflect any substitutions made due to dietary restrictions (with the exception of gluten-free/coeliac).
