We are searching for a sales-driven, food and beverage enthusiast who’s ready to take on the challenge of managing a bustling shop front and Cheese Lounge. Located in the Southside of Edinburgh, the cheese lounge was nestled into the back of the shop in 2018, offering a relaxed dining experience for customers to enjoy a cheese board and glass of wine.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- Leadership experience (managerial experience of a small team is essential)
- Team player attitude
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Sales Driven
- Have a passion for small scale artisan products
- Be willing to work over the festive period (Our busiest trading time; we need commitment and availability from our managers during this time)
- Exemplary customer service
- Passion for cheese
- Personal License Holder (beneficial but not essential)

- Leadership of a small, close-knit team
- Providing a premium service to our loyal customers
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Maintaining a clean and tidy store
- Providing a positive learning environment
- Keeping up to date with and operating in line with Company Policy
- Contributing ideas to facilitate the growth of the store
- Facilitating team growth and engagement by providing stability and a passion for small scale, local producers

Interview process – what to expect:
We aim to review applications within five to seven working days. If you are selected, we will reach out to arrange an introductory interview held online. You should expect to discuss your relevant work experience and interest in the role/business. Should you be successful, second stage interviews will be held on sight with a company director.
