Legendary estate Lapierre makes this Gamay from fruit that mostly comes from the prestigious cru of Morgon, along with some from the Beaujolais AC. It is bottled as ‘vin de France’ but is easily equivalent to a great Beaujolais-Villages or good Morgon. Bright, crunchy cherry and raspberry fruit and good concentration.
