What does a tasting include?
Our tasting packages start at five wines and five cheeses, plus quince and oatcakes or crackers to accompany. The portions of cheese and wine are tasting portions, but our guests always leave feeling satisfied! We’re happy to work with you to add on to your tasting, including a drink on arrival, an additional cheese/wine, additional accompaniments and more. The group will be lead through an informal yet informative guided tasting by one of our experienced cheesemongers, and will provide Cheesemonger Handbooks for the group to take notes and learn about cheese care.
What does a tasting exclude?
Due to event capacity, we require our tasting event hosts to provide wine glasses and crockery. We’re happy to source recyclable crockery and glassware upon request, at an extra charge.
What does a tasting cost?
The cost of a tasting depends on location, group size and timing, but an average tasting package starts at around £50 per guest. We require a minimum of 10 guests to attend a private tasting.
Do you cater to dietary restrictions?
We can certainly cater for most dietary restrictions or allergies, including vegetarian and gluten-free – please just ask! Unfortunately, we are unable to offer vegan options.
