Delivery & Returns

Delivery Costs:

England, Wales and Central Scotland. For any delivery a charge of £8.00 will be added.

Rural Scotland, Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland. Please call us 0131 661 9955 to get a quote

When To Place An Order:

When placing your order please specify your preferred delivery date. We usually accept up to 12 noon two days before your chosen arrival date, but please bear in mind that during peak times lead times can extend to up to 72 hours prior to delivery. Due to warehouse opening hours (Monday – Friday) we wont send any cheese over the weekend so it is best to place your order earlier in the week to ensure delivery before/on Friday

Delivery Date / Time / Tracking The Parcel:

As we are using a third party (an independent transporter) we cannot guarantee a delivery on your chosen day however, we almost never experience trouble with our chosen transport company.

Please bear in mind that deliveries will be made daytime but without any certainty about the exact hour. So make sure someone is there to collect the parcel. Alternatively if you’re not going to be in please specify where you’d like it delivered to (safe place) when placing your order with us. You will be sent a code which will enable you to track if you need to see where your parcel is at any given time.

Please note that any orders that are placed using the “store collection” will be ready for collection at your chosen store AFTER 3pm unless stated otherwise

Packaging:

We package the cheese in one of our MELLIS cardboard boxes which is also filled with an ice pack during the warm months of the year.

Reclamations / Returns :

Cheeses are perishable goods, therefore we cannot accept returns. However If there is something you suspect to be wrong with your order please contact us immediately and send us a picture of the product and we refund you the full amount.

Whilst ordering you can also choose to pick up your order at one of our stores. Please note your preferred store in the comments box.

Please note that any damages or invoice discrepancies should be reported to warehousemanager@mellischeese.co.uk within 48 hours from receipt of delivery
