A soft, young cheese that has a thin pinkish rind. The Durrus Óg was created in 2008 while tinkering around with sizes and maturity of the Durrus cheese. Whilst made with the same milk from Sarah’s jersey cow’s, the final product is very different to Durrus. OG is wrapped in porous paper, allowing the cheese to breathe more. This means the cheese has more of a Reblochon style flavour and finish.
